In an earlier Avengers: Endgame script, Thor traveled to Jormungard to obtain his new ax Stormbreaker. Seen from orbit, Jormungard looks like a nuked apocalyptic planet covered in deep craters. The craters are actually worm holes eaten by World Serpent Spawn. I designed a huge sandworm-like serpent with organic boring mouth parts inspired by oil drill heads.
